Hook & Ladder Truck

This American LaFrance ladder truck was purchased for the City of Cheyenne in 1931 and first arrived on the back of a Union Pacific train. It has an 85-foot aerial ladder and a trampoline, which would have been used to evacuate people on the upper floors of Cheyenne buildings. This fire truck was housed at the main fire house in Cheyenne and was used to fight fires until 1966.
