The Surrey

The Surrey was a popular American four-wheel family carriage that was developed late in the carriage era. It is patterned from a vehicle that was imported from England in 1867, the year Cheyenne was founded. The popularity of the wagon grew rapidly, and a large variety of styles developed. They were later equipped with either a falling or standing top.
