The Rockaway

The Rockaway is an American invention and demonstrated democracy at work. It was the first carriage that provided comfort for the driver. Sometimes it is called a “depot wagon” or a “station wagon”. In early Cheyenne, such a vehicle carried visitors from the train station to the then-splendid Inter-Ocean Hotel.
